About Courtney Brady, M.D.

Originally from New York City, Dr Brady spent her undergraduate years in the Northeast, attended Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and then made her way to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston to complete her residency in Internal Medicine. She has been board-certified in Internal Medicine since 2003 and has practiced clinical medicine since that time.

Dr Brady spent several years in the outpatient general internal medicine setting before transitioning to become an inpatient academic hospitalist in 2007. She had also concomitantly worked as a hospice medical director from 2019 to 2021. Dr Brady has in-depth knowledge of primary care, chronic medical conditions, acute illness requiring intensive inpatient hospitalization, palliation and management of terminal medical diseases and general geriatric care.

As it pertains to her niche in medico legal endeavors, Dr Brady's focus will be on hospital medicine. She has particular interests in cases concerning Covid-19 and medical complications that arise whilst a patient is hospitalized, including but not limited to sepsis, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, gastrointestinal bleeding, falls and atrial fibrillation. Her goal is to provide knowledgeable, dependable, unbiased, evidence-based, thoughtfully constructed expert testimony in medical malpractice and personal injury cases. She is available for case reviews, pre-suit expert opinion reports, depositions and courtroom testimony. Dr Brady is available to opine on causation and standard of care cases. She has experience with case reviews and will work on behalf of defendants or plaintiffs.
